Welcome, Welcome. The following is basically a romantic comedy/ romance concerning four Japanese college students, based off of an extremely good romantic comedy/romance anime series/manga called Marmalade Boy. (If you haven't seen it, check out the web ring at the bottom of the page for more info.)
My goal in writing Tangled Skein is to present a mostly original story that feels like Marmalade Boy. So you can be sure there will be plently of the serious stuff like love triangles, stolen kisses, romantic plotting, heartache, and confessions of true love, as well as all Marmalade Boy trappings (tennis matches, bad cooking, train scenes, amusement parks, and electronic romance toys.) Most importantly, I want to keep the plot engaging, like in the original series, so even if you can guess the ending, you have no idea of how it will be pulled off until the last page.
Anyway, with that, I hope you enjoy the story. Feel free to write to me. I'd love to know what you think both about the story and the web page (I'm still learning style sheets so there might be some broken links and weird browser interactions).
