My git commit activity on Molecule World this last year. I worked in fits and bursts, with July and half of August devoted to family responsibilities, which included (but weren’t limited to) moving to California.
Update: Looking again at the above graph, it sure seemed mighty sparse… I was pretty sure I had worked on the project a lot more than that. Then I realized: The graph reports only those commits that made it to the master branch. I had created a slew of experimental branches along the way, and all the commits to those branches – ideas that seemed great at the time but never made it into any released code, were left out. This includes a solid stretch in mid-July of experimental rendering improvements that simply failed to deliver the benefits I was hoping for.
